Commitment to quality begins with complete management support of the Quality System and flows down through the entire organization. Training in both quality and job related functions is employed through all facets of the system.
Our Quality System was originally written to conform to the requirements of MIL-I-45208A and has been serving the U.S. Navy and commercial industries for many years. Today, our fully documented Quality System meets the stringent requirements of ISO 9001-2008.
Our complete inspection, test, and gaging system is set up to meet all customer requirements for testing and inspection, and guarantees that the product ordered meets the most demanding customer requirements. In addition, Quality Control personnel are certified in Liquid Penetrant Examination, with the availability of local sources to perform other phases of Non Destructive Examination (NDE). Documented inspection system includes the use of Coordinate Measuring Machine technology, along with the other testing equipment that gives us the capabilities for performing lube oil performance tests at various temperatures, hot and cold water testing, noise testing, vacuum testing and hydrotesting. All inspection and test equipment is fully calibrated, traceable to National Institute Standards Technology (NIST) per ISO 9001 and MIL-STD-45662 requirements.
Communication with our customers and employees is considered an important part of our plan for continuous improvement. Our corrective action system stresses dealing with the root cause of the problem, not just the "quick fix." Welding processes controlled under the Quality System require that welders and procedures be qualified to ASME and MIL-STD requirements.
